Billy Birdzell grew up in Larchmont, N.Y. He earned a BA in Economics at Emory University and then joined the Marine Corps where he served as an infantry officer and became a founding member of Marine Corps Special Operations. His overseas assignments involved combat operations in Iraq and advisor missions to Mali and Kenya.
After 8 years in the USMC, Billy earned an MBA from the University of Virginia and attended Georgetown's Security Studies Program where he had the opportunity to study with some of the preeminent thinkers and practitioners of foreign policy and national defense.
Billy then transitioned to the non-profit sector where he gained industry knowledge and fundraising experience working as the Assistant Director of Corporate and Foundation Relations at the NRA.
In the commercial space, Billy started at Remington, where created unconventional marketing initiatives which focused on working with and through influencers via social media. Billy also created and hosted digital content for individual products as well as broader brand initiatives.
Billy currently divides his time between advising new companies on how to build their brand and hosting a range of programming which includes Brother on SnapChat, GunTV, RecoilTV and YouTube.
Billy is passionate about connecting people and communities in order empower individuals so that they realize their dreams. His athletic pursuits include muay thai, jiu-jitsu, rock climbing and mountaineering.
